On January 1, 2018, a new Suffolk County law will go into effect, charging a five-cent fee for plastic and paper carryout bags, at a variety of retail stores. Those in support of the fee believe it will protect the environment. Those against view it as a tax that will hurt local businesses. Would you support Nassau County imposing a five-cent fee on plastic and paper carryout bags?

Nassau County should have a power agency of its own. This agency would replace LIPA in Nassau County. It would bring power back fast.

Why dose LIPA exist , is the N.Y. S. Power Authority so incompetent that we need another organization .Total waste of tax payer money."Down State" funds paid for outside plant and power plants built UpState yet we see no relief on cost, they put up wind turbines under the hight required to be effective..Pure waste.
